Fondazione Pirelli

The Pirelli Foundation, was established in 2009 by Pirelli family and the Pirelli Group to safeguard and promote awareness of Pirelli's immense historical and contemporary heritage and to promote enterpreneurial culture.
We designed the concept for the set-up of the new offices located in the 1930's Building 134. A quote large letters by engeneering Luigi Emanueli welcomed the visitors. It is few words in Milanese dialect: "Adess ghe capisserem on quaicoss: andemm a vedegh denter" (Now we'll understand something. Let's go look inside."). Once again we used our LFT Etica to display words from the most famous Pirelli's campaigns and designers who have worked for the company such as Munari and others. The project also involved the 200 squared metres open space equiped for conferences, seminars and exhibits. The Foundation, opened to the public during the 2010 Milan Design Week, hosts the Pirelli's historical archive and works by Guttuso, Grignani, Fletcher, Norda, Basilico, Manzi, Hegelmann, Soldini, Bertoglio, Gavioli and others.
