Stefano Quintarelli

Stefano Quintarelli pioneered the commercial development of the Internet in Italy. He theorized the net as a dimension of the existence able to develop social and economics relations. In 1994, he established with Marco Negri and Franco Groppi I.NET, the first commercial ISP in Italy for professionals and one of the first Internet Service Provider. In 2013, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament as an independent candidate in the list “Scelta Civica”.
